The National Language Arts League is organized and operated under the auspices of the highly successful Continental Mathematics League. It is designed and constructed by language arts teachers with teaching experience ranging from elementary school through the college level. The contest covers the topics of spelling, vocabulary, reading comprehension, analogies, and grammar. It is designed to further students involvement and curiosity in various language arts areas while, at the same time, providing recognition and awards at both the school and national levels.
