The National Quarter Mile Dirt Track Championship Weekend has been postponed and will be run next Friday and Saturday, November 7th and 8th. A new complete schedule is posted below. The 45th Southern Tier 100 will not race for RoC points, like last year the title race will be carried to April at Five Mile Point Speedway. The Excel 600 c.c. Modified event on Saturday will not run for tour points due to a scheduling conflict. The Flea Market has been cancelled and will not be made up. Our Saturday schedule next week has been moved ahead with racing set to begin at 1 p.m. We are as disappointed as everyone else but with the unstable weekend weather setup we had to consider the large number of far traveling fans and teams that were making plans for this weekend. The weather setup is almost identical to last years original quarter mile weekend. We are likely to have lake effect enhanced rain on and off both Friday and Saturday and Sundays day time HIGH temperatures are not expected to climb out of the 30s (with the wind chill temps will be in the low 20s). We appreciate everyones understanding that we are trying to save people wasted time and money on travel, fuel and food expenses with the low probability of completing the entire program. Thank you!
