The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising customers served by the Bogue Treatment Plant in St. Ann, that as a result of urgent maintenance work to be carried out at the plant, they will experience a disruption in their regular water supply on Thursday, July 24, 2014, between the hours of 7:00am and 7:00pm. Areas to be affected include St. Ann’s Bay, Windsor Heights, Mammee Bay, Steer Town Housing Scheme 1& 2, Oho Rios and surrounding areas, Content Gardens, Exchange, Bonham Spring, Eltham Port Maria, Trinity, Hamilton Mountain, White River and Galina. In the meantime, customers served by the Logwood Treatment in Hanover will experience a disruption in their water supply Today, July 23, 2014, due to emergency repair work to be carried out on a 16 inch broken main. Areas to be affected include Logwood, March Town, Cave Valley, Santoy, Orange Bay, Negril, West End, Sheffield, Green Island Salt Spring, Lucea, Esher, Elgin, Town, Malcolm Heights, Haughton Court, Cauldwell, Pell River, First Hill, Archwell, Saxam, Bloody Bay, New Hope and Retreat. Every effort will be made to complete the necessary repairs and restore supply by 3:00pm. The NWC apologises for any inconvenience these disruptions may cause and craves the patience and understanding of its valued customers.
