The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising that the Bogue Treatment Plant in St. Ann, will be shut down on Thursday, October 2, 2014, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00p.m. This is to facilitate urgent maintenance work at the facility. During this period, customers in St. Ann’s Bay, Ocho Rios and surrounding areas, Content Gardens, Exchange, Bonham Spring, Etham, Windsor Heights, Mammee Bay, Steer Town Housing Scheme 1& 2, Port Maria, Trinity, Hamilton Mountain, White River and Galina, will experience a disruption in their water supply. The NWC apologises for any inconvenience this necessary work may cause and urges customers in these areas to store water for use during the period of down-time.
