The National Weather Service has issued Winter Weather Advisories and or Freezing Rain Advisories for much of Central and Southern Indiana and Western and Southwestern Ohio. Freezing rain and sleet will develop across Southwestern Indiana by late Sunday Morning and will overspread the rest of Southern and Central Indiana by Sunday Afternoon. Up to 1/4 of freezing rain and 1-2 of snow is expected across Central Indiana and Western Ohio with up to a tenth of an inch of freezing rain across Southern Indiana. The National Weather Service is monitoring parts of Central Indiana including the I-70 corridor for a possible upgrade to an Ice Storm Warning so stay tuned. In addition we expect the Winter Weather Advisories will likely be extended farther North to cover the snow and sleet potential that will occur in those areas.
