The National Weather Service has issued a FLOOD WATCH in effect until 4pm this afternoon June 27, 2013. This watch includes Guernsey,Tuscarawas, Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Harrison, Jefferson, Muskingum, Belmont, Noble, & Monroe counties in Ohio. Widespread heavy rain is possible this morning into this afternoon. The ground is saturated from previous rain & more moderate to heavy rain could cause flooding. A FLOOD WATCH means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. Please monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop. Tune to NOAA weather radio, the Weather Channel or local radio for information.
