The National Weather Service has issued aHazardous Weather Outlook for the Triad for Tuesday through Thursday. Guilford County could see between 1 - 2 inches of Rain this week along with possible thunderstorms and a frost/freeze potential as well. For everyone working in their yards, hold off on spreading fertilizer or seeds as the heavy rains will more than likely displace anything that is spread. The text of the Hazardous Weather Outlook is below for reference. Enjoy the beautiful day today before the week turns a little cooler and wetter. A STRONG COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED TO SLOWLY PUSH EAST ACROSS THE REGION TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT. WIDESPREAD HEAVY RAIN OF 1 TO 2 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THE SYSTEM. IN ADDITION... ISOLATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MAY BE POSSIBLE TUESDAY INTO TUESDAY NIGHT. FINALLY... MUCH COLDER TEMPERATURES FOLLOWING THE FRONT MAY RESULT IN SOME FROST OR A LIGHT FREEZE OVER PORTIONS OF CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA BY THURSDAY MORNING.
