The National Weather Service has sharply curtailed snow totals, - TopicsExpress

The National Weather Service has sharply curtailed snow totals, according to Gary Szatkowski, meteorologist-in-charge at the Mount Holly, NJ office. The services current call is for 10-14 along coastal Monmouth and Ocean and less to the south and west. In NJs NYC suburbs, around either side of a foot is still possible. Especially in the northern shore area, blizzard conditions are still possible overnight as heavy snow rotates in with gusty winds. My deepest apologies to many key decision makers and so many members of the general public, Szatkowski said. You made a lot of tough decisions expecting us to get it right, and we didnt. Once again, Im sorry. After speaking with forecasters, well likely have a report tomorrow on what went wrong.
