The National Weather Services has issued a Heat Advisory effective October 03 at 11:00 AM PDT until October 04 at 8:00 PM PDT for the San Diego County Valleys and Mountains. Temperatures are expected to be very hot Friday through Sunday with the hottest day being Saturday. Temperatures will be 10 to 20 degrees above normal, with the I-15 corridor and valleys expected to reach between 100 and 102 degrees and in the low 90s along the coast. The heat advisory remains in effect from 11 am Friday to 8 pm Saturday. Hottest temperatures are expected from late morning to late afternoon. The County operates a Cool Zones program and has designated buildings as cooling centers.
