The New Side Chick isnt the mistress of a man otherwise involved with another woman. The New Side Chick is any one of us who is waiting around for a man that has made it clear he is not interested in a future with you either by words or more importantly by his actions (or lack thereof). Hes not a cheater, hes just not present and yet you still are. Its a new year. Leave that old script and its author at the door; do not bring it into your rebirth and new growth. Anyone claiming uncertainty about where you line up in their plans is either dishonest or just too darn confused to be making plans that include you. You say you know your worth?
