The New Year starts off with death: 81 year old Donna Douglas, the actress who won over TV viewers as Elly May Clampett on “The Beverly Hillbillies” met the God who offered His believers a heavenly mansion. The star’s granddaughter told TMZ Douglas died in her Louisiana home surrounded by friends and family. The cause of death was pancreatic cancer. Donna was born a Catholic but died a Baptist. Cuomo, the three-term governor of New York also met the God that will judge and rule eternity. According to the story Cuomo died on January 1, 2015, in his home in Manhattan, New York of heart failure, only hours after his son Andrew was sworn-in to a second term as Governor of New York State. Little Jimmy Dickens, was an American country music singer famous for his humorous novelty songs, his small size, 411, and his rhinestone-studded outfits. He died of cardiac arrest on January 2, 2015, at the age of 94 and not much mentioned of his faith. No doubt many more will follow and many of those will have plans and schedules that they thought they would be doing but God said otherwise.
