The New York City Police Department is seeking the publics assistance in identifying and locating the following suspects who are wanted in connection to a robbery which occurred within the confines of the 44 Precinct. Details are as follows: On Monday, August 18, 2014 at 0357 hours, in front of 140 East 170 Street, three unknown male suspects approached the victim, a 25-years-old female, and began to strike her with closed fists repeatedly about the body and face. Suspect #1 removed a Sony cell phone from the victim and suspects #2 and #3 attempted to take her purse. The suspects then fled eastbound on 170 Street to parts unknown. There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident. Suspects #1 is described as a male black, late teens, approximately 57 tall, weighing 150 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt. Suspects #2 & #3 are described as male blacks wearing dark clothing. A video of the suspects is attached and available at DCPI.
