The New York Water Sentinels are looking for new volunteers to expand its stream sampling monitoring efforts in Sullivan and Delaware Counties and will be hosting a stream monitoring workshop. Saturday, November 9, 2013 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Delaware Youth Center, Callicoon, NY The workshop will identify various forms of water pollution that could stem from natural gas drilling and train volunteers to determine stream health using visual and chemical monitoring techniques. Lunch will be provided, and a $20.00 donation is suggested. The training is conducted by ALLARM and is cosponsored by Damascus Citizens for Sustainability and Delaware Riverkeeper Network in partnership with the NY Water Sentinels.
