The New Zealand Food and Grocery Council (NZFGC) operates in a similar way and has a close working relationship with the US GMA, but doesnt need to sue, as its National Party mates dont monitor or enforce the GE labelling laws we already have. It has been suggested Ex National MP and NZFGC CEO Katherine Rich was implicated in Cameron Slaters Whale Oil blogging attacks on those opposed to some NZFGC member interests. I notice I was attacked by Whale Oil when campaigning for NZ GE labelling laws to be enforced. Must ask Katherine if NZFGC will be happy to support NZ GE labelling laws being enforced. New Zealanders deserve to know whats in their food.
