A couple of months ago, Rob Zombie released a mysterious teaser trailer for an upcoming project called simply 31. At the time, no one seemed to know what it was, but it appeared unrelated to any of his other previously announced projects like the Manson Family TV mini-series and the Broad Street Bullies movie. The number 31 seemed to indicate an association with October 31st and Halloween. 3.Ghostbusters 3 to Introduce an All-Female Team, Paul Feig Top Choice to Direct? Just a couple of weeks after Marvel announced plans for a female Thor prior to Comic-Con, it looks as though another well-known property is about to get an unexpected gender reversal as well. Ghostbusters 3 has been in development for years now, undergoing substantial rewrites to address the fact that less and less of the original cast would be involved (Bill Murray has steadfastly refused while Harold Ramis passed away earlier this year). The plan was always to reboot the franchise by passing the torch to a younger generation of Ghostbusters, but now they seem to be going in a surprising direction with that new team. Word on the street is that the new crew will all be women and the movie will likely be helmed by Bridesmaids director Paul Feig.
