The Nigeria police nd political neutrality in election admininstration...though the roles of police in election administration are meant to be neutral nd functional to d electoral processes,they were considerd more partisa nd dyfunctional to d electoral system.elections scarcely meet de expectations of de electorates partly due to de structurd,induced,passive nd coercive dyfunctions of de police in d course of providg security.Although de police are properly detaild on their electoral duties as containd in de INEC manual for elections,but they depend more on de instruction from the more influential political party nd INEC officials.Hence,whever INEC collude wit the rulg party,de police would be invariably involvd.Thus,the dyfunctions of d police at elections infuse doubts in de minds of the electorates,as a result electorates has lose confidence in de police hence 2015 general elections is here.what do we do?
