The Nigerian Armed Forces:As per Segun Adeniyi, is in total or near collapse, for reasons of lack of everything;from its bearing under trained to its being reduced into security to protect just the president against its functions of defending the nation. A feat celebrated during the era of general Babangida, military leadership...some years and some ex-presidents before now. Is it any surprise that the nations military is in teeters when presidents before now were tigers. We should be graceful to note that the man bestowed with leading the Nigeria nation in the interim has the antidotes to the malaise called derailing Nigeria, should all hands be on deck than busy looking in futility for a cheap score. The moment a Jonathan, mounted the saddle of Nigeria leadership , some people vowed to unleash terror on its fellow citizens-a power tussle that started as a result of a Christian minority president. A sorry situation that should have been attended to, by the successive head of states/ presidents, before Jonathan. However, be that as it may, the planned terror onslaught started under the watchful eyes of Jonathan, and he had no choice than to respond with whatever that is available pending the resultant effects of not outing right when the opportunities were abound in those years that preceded the present time. Nigeria, is evolving and in the right direction. AdmittedlyBoko Haramis a terror group and should not be equated with anything meaningful. However, their emergence has exposed the weaknesses of the nations armed forces, which has been neglected in the past. The planning of the terror group, boko haram and the systematic but gradual killing of the Nigeria military are at equal proportion. Therefore-Jonathan, this is the time to rebuild Nigeria.
