What impact did this amount have on the people of the North. We have for a long time lived in illusion of the South was against us. I have continued to feel without any justification about this. Our political elders have deceived us into believing that absolute nonsense. It is time we take over our destiny in our hands. One trillion Naira is such a huge sum of money. My visit to Jigawa have shown that good leaders can be change agents. We wallow in the disbelief that we will be killed if we challenge them. See what is happening in Gombe in 3 years. Kano has experienced some changes in the last 3 years. I grew up to meet an Igbo man who was a small trader in our hamlet. He built a house where his family lives, yet we were richer than him, but he lives in a better house to the envy of all of us. I met his children in university, even though I had a scholarship. Why cant we emulate him instead of cast aspersion on his person & tribe as too noisy. This family have since left for the east. Is this how to grow a people? Our elders are cheating us. Before you comment, ask yourself, where is this billions in my state or local government?
