The Northeast Texas Trails work day in Red River County is set for Saturday, January 25th with volunteers asked to meet at the Red River County Fairgrounds at 8:45 a.m. Workers should bring shovels, pruners, saws and other tools for clearing. Persons who plan to bring larger equipment are asked to call the City of Clarksville at 903-427-3834 and speak with City Manager Wayne Dial or Mayor Ann Rushing to coordinate the large equipment work locations away from volunteer from groups using smaller tools.
