The OPA is not accepting FIT Program applications at this time. The application period for FIT projects is expected to open on November 4, 2013, and close on December 13, 2013, with a procurement target of up to 123.5 megawatts (MW). This includes the procurement target of up to 70 MW plus 53.5 MW remaining from the previous application period. Potential applicants are reminded that FIT projects are those that are larger than 10 kilowatts (kW) and generally up to 500 kW. A procurement process for larger renewable energy projects is currently under development, and more details will be provided on the OPA website when they are available. The FIT 3 Rules contain tailored provisions for applicants who want to participate in the Unconstructed Rooftop Solar Pilot, which includes a separate procurement target of up to 15 MW. The application start and end dates for the pilot will be the same as for other FIT Program applicants who will apply during the upcoming fall 2013 application period.
