The Oak Ridge Boys are on our Wine Tunesday playlist today with their signature song “Elvira.” If you don’t know who they are, they became popular in the 1950s as a southern gospel group. But in the 70s, they changed their image to have a more country sound. “Elvira” has been covered multiple times over the years, most notably by Kenny Rogers and the First Edition.
