The Oinkster in Eagle Rock is one of those little gems of an eatery that makes So Cal so...cool! Yes its about the pig (the house cured Oinkster Pastrami) at this joint, but the rotisserie chicken with plantains is quite good and the shakes and root beer float are to die for. (Ill pay for it in a couple of hours but I had the I had the Royale (a LOADED cheese burger with the house-cured pastrami AND chili) --- WOW! A true knockout punch of a sandwich that has to be eaten with a knife and fork! Cpt. Ron was duly impressed by The Oinkster ...not a easy feat.
