The Old Wrinkle Guup Tenzin was a dasho (equivalent to knight in Bhutan) of some sort, and he was proud to show off his honourary red scarf and his sword to the public. “I have served his majesty the fourth king for decades,” the old wrinkle would say to the youngsters with an air of pride. Unlike most oldie of his generation, Guup Tenzin learned how to use computer, and soon he was on Facebook, making friends. One day he fell for a woman 30 years younger than him, and he sent her his first message despite few reservations, ‘Hi’ was his first word. Her name was Kinlay, and she didn’t respond, so Tenzin send her another message, ‘Hi beautiful, how R U doing?’ and he keep on bombarding her with messages, and she couldnt ignore him any longer ‘hi’ she replied. Kinlay thought of blocking him, but she was curious who he was, sending her tons of messages. By the weird twist of fate they become real Facebook friends, and after a while, a lovers. This was one of happiest day in the old wrinkle’s life, and he was very elated. He lied to her “I am still single, and I am 40 year old,” said the old wrinkle with a smile. The old wrinkle was actually 60 year old man, and he was still young at heart. Now the woman was married too, and she too lied about her marital status to him. They met in a café for the first time, and agreed for the conjugal meeting once a week. This illicit relationship went on for few months, and finally one day a disaster did struck in the old wrinkle’s happy little life; Karma, his son followed him, and caught him red handed making love to her in a hotel room. Then the old wrinkle begged him not to tell anyone, but his son was an honest man, and he made his dirty little affair public. The news destroyed the families of both lovers, and finally out of sheer shame Kinlay committed suicide. “I want you to live, and regret what you did to us,” said the husband of deceased Kinlay with tears in his eyes. “You are the most despicable person I have ever met in my life. How can you call yourself a dasho; your behavior is far worse than a lowly peasant.”
