The One True God: The Giver of Life The fall of man, (Genesis 3) so just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned. (Romans 5:12) So we are not a sinner because we have sinned; we are not righteous and good, we have never sought and come to God, we rebelled and dont fear God (Romans 3:10-18) we have broken everyone of His Law. (Exodus 20:1-17) Weve sinned because thats our sinful nature. We inherited it through (Adam and Eve) we were brought forth in iniquity, and in sin our mother conceived us. (Psalms 51:5) Therefore we were dead in our trespasses and sins. (Ephesians 2:1) So how then can a man live? Just as the LORD says to Ezekiel, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, You know.” Again He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.’ (Ezekiel 37:3-4) So the dead dry bones (people) must hear the word of Christ (Romans 10:17) - The Gospel The message of Christ crucified, that He died for our sins, that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) Thats the first important message, the word of Christ, the Gospel, the Good News, the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes! (Romans 1:16) And now, it is not a [trick] for the wages of sin is death, but the [treat] free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23) What should you do? Jesus says, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:15) Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. -John 5:25 (NASB)
