The Onehunga Branch has seen a huge change in fate over the past decade or so, going from a derelict and near-forgotten branch line to a high quality suburban line supporting Aucklands first electric trains. In this video, I take a look back at the history of the branch line as well as follow the progress of the EMU introduction. This was originally meant to be shown at a Railway Enthusiasts Society meeting, but I was not able to get it scheduled in so I put it on YouTube instead.
