The Oravida schemozzle shows once again why we need greater transparency about who Ministers are meeting, about what. I worked hard on our Lobbying Disclosure Bill for two years, but in the end we couldnt get cross-party support for a register of lobbyists. So now, were proposing that Ministers need to proactively disclose who they meet with about what. The Greens in Government would introduce a disclosure regime like they have in the UK. More below.
