The Orb .... !!!! Well - now how weird is this??? I was growing up in South London in the 70s 80s & hung round with my close friends Jo Bev, Vanessa, & a few others. Bevs auntie was (is) Annette, but Bev & Annette were more like best mates... little age gap, so always were chums together. Annette was going out with Alex, (and still is), & we all hung out together. Then we all left school... & lost contact :( By the beauty of Facebook... I then re-found Bev & Jo 30 odd years later :) So now, happily, Bev & I see each other quite a lot, and I spent a lovely afternoon with my friend just today at chez wright & am going to hers next week :) But, today, when my lovely BevBean & I spent a very chilled but in depth afternoon talking & reminiscing .... she told me that in fact - Alex - IS...... The ORB!!!!!!!! WTactual???? OMAG!!! So... amongst others.... 35 years ago... I was actually hanging out with.... THE ORB - to BE!!!!! :O How utterly weird is THAT!!? I LOVE The Orb..... never would have guessed in a mill years that I knew him!! HA! Nowt as weird as life, eh? ;) theorb/
