The Orchestra starts its 2014-15 season at Southbank Centres Royal Festival Hall on Monday 27 October with one of the most influential symphonic works of the last two centuries: Beethovens Ninth Symphony. Principal Guest Conductor Pinchas Zukerman leads the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Canadas National Arts Centre Orchestra, London Philharmonic Choir, Lisa Milne (soprano), Partricia Bardon (mezzo-soprano), Barry Banks (tenor) and David Stout (baritone) in this monumental choral symphony and conducts the UK premiere of Malcolm Forsyths A Ballad of Canada.
