The Oregonian called us meagerly funded but tenacious, and we wear that like a badge of honor. After being massively outspent by the special interest groups pulling our oppositions strings, our group of dedicated volunteers and individual supporters pulled off the impossible -- a decisive triumph of grassroots activism over big money and big government. The final margin stood at 67%-33%, better than two-to-one. In 17 counties, we prevailed with over 80% of the vote. More people voted No on 88 than voted for any other issue or candidate on the ballot in Oregon! It speaks to the bipartisan opposition to the terrible idea that the Capitol tried to shove down our throats. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the No on 88 campaign!
