The Oregonian published an article on the possible overdiagnosis of thyroid cancer in the United States - a 30% increase over the past thirty years. Hello! Check it out from Wednesdays issue ( 10/23/13 ). So, either we have more causes than the rest of the world, OR, doctors here are mis/overdiagnosing and overtreating. What was ESPECIALLY INTERESTING was the published results of a study by NY cancer experts who found that...ok, hold your breath for this one...diagnostic rates in the US were higher for people with wealth and health insurance. OK, breathe again. Now...what could that mean? Hmmmm.... Ok, enough tongue in cheek. Tomorrow, how to heal your own thyroid and keep it that way, otherwise known as dont take the red pill !.
