The Orrick High School was hit hard by a tornado last May. The - TopicsExpress

The Orrick High School was hit hard by a tornado last May. The Agriculture Department was nearly completely destroyed and much of what remains is no longer structurally sound and will be torn down. The school has been working hard to develop a plan for rebuilding the agriculture department and other parts of the school damaged in the storm. The school has worked hard to create a vision for the rebuilding that is fiscally sound with no real extra bells and whistles. Still, it will take $1 Million over what insurance will pay to achieve the vision and rebuild the North end of the school, ag shop and connect the two. The Orrick School District is seeking private and corporate donations to help with recovery efforts. If you, your company or your organization would like to make a donation, contributions may be sent to the Orrick R-XI School District at 100 Kirkham Street, Orrick, Missouri. Contact Superintendent, Aerin O’Dell, at (816) 770-0094 for more information and ways you can support this effort.
