The Orthodox Muslim society has always been strictly against the Inter-Religion marriages meaning Muslim marrying Non Muslim which has been forbidden in Quran (2:221). But then many intellectuals started calling this backwardness of Muslims. They used to say Love knows no religion. Love has no religion. There should be no restrictions on Love. Anyone should be allowed to marry anyone they wish. Bla bla bla... Some Muslims (who are completely ignorant of Islamic Teachings) got infected with this sickness being spread by some intellectuals. And many Muslims started marrying non Muslims. And Now when some Hindutva outfits invented this bullshit term #LoveJihad for political gains and causing communal disharmony, not a single one from those intellectuals (the so called advocates of Love) raising any sort of objection. Bloody hypocrites! Know, even though Islam has nothing to do with #LoveJihad, Muslims are not allowed to marry Non-Muslims unless they accept Islam with their own consent (not forcefully).
