Officials in the Lutheran church of Norway have stopped short of calling it a spiritual awakening, But they see the new-found interest in the Bible as proof that it still resonates in a country where only one per cent of the five million residents regularly attends church. More that 250,000 immigrants have settled in the country during the last six years alone, adding diversity to Race and religion. The church of Norway estimates that around 0 per cent of immigrants are Christians, While the rest are Muslims, Buddhist or Hindu. Now that Norway is exposed to other faiths, Norwegians have got more interested in their own faith.
