The PAP claims that we have to pay them high salaries, otherwise it would be difficult for them to negotiate deals when they meet other business people who earn more than them. Wah, I cannot imagine the shame that all the other political leaders in the world must feel when they meet other business people. Can you imagine, they are only earning $20,000 to $30,000 every month when they should be paid the nearly $200,000 (or 10 times more) that the Singapore prime minister is being paid? At the rate these other political leaders feel so much shame and cant negotiate for business in their countries, no wonder all the countries in the world has collapsed all over and Singapore is the only country left in the world. Wonder why Norway, Sweden and Denmark, Ecuador and other countries are still around when they should have collapsed long ago, since they only pay their political leaders so little, at $25,000. Hmm...
