The PAVs Committee has decided rather than be threatened publicly - TopicsExpress

The PAVs Committee has decided rather than be threatened publicly and privately with the release of footage of alleged cheating by Refs at a PAVs event we would prefer to release the video ourselves. The video was filmed in May 2011 so a lot of time has passed since the footage was shot. What we see is that the Ref goes in looks at the paint first before removing it then checks the rest of the player. Why would he do this if he was cheating? This Refs Inc member has a huge amount of experience and the only ref in the country with NPPL qualification. The PAVs Committee continues to have complete faith in Refs Inc and look to continue the relationship in 2015 and beyond. For the record, Refs Inc have endorsed the release of the footage. Seems a stretch to us to deem the video proof of corruption, collusion or cheating. But feel free to make up your own mind. Please note we reserve the right to delete any responses that are deemed inappropriate or offensive.
