The PS Ministry of Education and Sports, Rose Nassali, writes to her boss, the Minister of Education and Sports, Jessica Alupo, demanding the immediate return of a government vehicle Nissan double cabin UG2572E allocated to Soroti University which Alupo allegedly grabbed and deployed for her personal errands in her rural Katakwi home through her proxy, Stephen Ilemukorit. The good soldier in Jessica Alupo, in response, writes to General Aronda Nyakairima, the Internal Affairs Minister, to immediately cause an investigation into the allegations against her (emphasis added) with the view of prosecuting anyone found on the wrong side of the law! ! Really? Doesnt it sound like a smart cover up? Methinks, the good steward in the PS had already raised circumstantial evidence to the fact that the Minister abused her office by irregularly diverting government property for her personal or proxys use. Supposing Arondas inquiry confirms what the PS alleges will the hon. Minister March herself to Luzira? This impunity must be brought to a stop.
