The PTA is pleased to announce that West Shore has once again been awarded funding to run an exemplary after-school program. The WAVE Afterschool program objective: to focus on improving students’ academic achievement, health and fitness, and social and emotional wellness in a fun and interactive manner. How it works: Homework help and snacks will be provided to begin the afternoon. (2:35 -3:20) Students will proceed through activity rotations. (3:20-4:20 and 4:20-5:30) Monthly family fun activities will be planned in conjunction with the PTA to promote a link between families, school staff, and the community.
