The Palestinian death toll has passed 1,200 now, mostly civilians. Ive seen enough images of dead children to last a lifetime. Its getting pretty out of control and the rockets from Israel cant help but seem indiscriminate. I want to believe thats not true but its getting harder every day. I am even more critical of my own government though and people should be. Philosophy is defined as love of truth and the greatest mistake we make is thinking weve arrived at one point of truth that requires no further searching. Whats worse is when our nationality, religion and ethnicity are the key determining factors in the truth we claim, instead of objective study. I continue to search. But what value i generally offer the world usually has to do with the power of human stories and not my meager political perspective. So on that note, i wanted to share this film with many of you. It was made my a simple farmer and actually was nominated for an Oscar two years ago. I hope some of you watch it. Its on e of my favorites. If you want to quarrel with someone go do it somewhere else. I wont and cant convince you to feel if you dont already.
