The Paramedics Australasia International Conference 2014 enters its second full day. A main attraction of the conference is the Ferno Australia Paramedic Simulation Challenge, where teams are put through a scenario-based competition involving a number of patients. An international array of teams including the London Ambulance Service, the Singapore Defense Force, New Zealand Ambulance teams and home-based Australian services pitted clinical excellence and experience against an exceptionally well conceived situation. The set for the challenge was installed by a local film studio and both the Queensland Fire Brigade and Police participated to add realism to the event.
