The Parliamentary by-elections for Bonchari Constituency, which was scheduled to be held on 3rd June, 2014 will now be held on 23rd June, 2014. This is because the courts declared the seat vacant on 7th March but issued the certificate on 14th April, 2014. The countdown begins from the date the certificate is issued. On the same date, IEBC will conduct by-elections in three County Assembly Wards (CAWs) namely: Misikhu (Webuye West, Bungoma County), Maua (Igembe South, Meru County) and Kikombai (Galole, Tana River County).
