The Past Tense Of Gods Word! Pt 2 Your faith will be so much effective if you begin to accept the tenses God uses when He speaks. Allow me show you something! When God changed Abrams name do you know what God said ? Genesis 17:5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations HAVE I MADE THEE. God was saying, I am changing your name, NOT SO THAT you can be a father of many nations, I am changing your name BECAUSE I HAVE ALREADY MADE YOU a father of many nations. Lets see how Paul put it in Romans 4:17 As it is written: I HAVE MADE YOU a father of many nations. He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who GIVES LIFE TO THE DEAD and CALLS INTO BEING THINGS THAT WERE NOT. Paul tells us that,God gives life to the dead and God calls into existence what does not exist so, If God says to Abram, Im changing your name because I have made you a father of many nations, Abraham by that statement IS AUTOMATICALLY a father of many nations! God has spoken things concerning us and among them is our right to health and healing. Matthew 8:17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, HIMSELF TOOK OUR INFIRMITIES, and BARE OUR SICKNESSES. 1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: BY WHOSE STRIPES YE WERE HEALED.
