The Paterson Great Falls Rotary club is proud to salute past president Wayne Cesa. Wayne beat his own record of 43 basketball free throws in 5 minutes, scoring 45 baskets today on the hallowed floor of Madison Square Garden. He was joined by fellow Rotarians, co-workers and special guest, grandson Leo. The only way that the day might have been better was if his two inspirations, cousin Tom Rege and best friend Cullen Revis could have been present to cheer him on. Wayne is the executive director and founder of Free Throws for AIDS. To raise money for his charity, he shoots free throws at various locations and collects money for each shot he makes. Funds raised go toward programs designed to educate young people on HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention. The educational programs have been seen by 11,000 students. For more information: freethrows.org
