The Pay it Forward Tea and Tour held at the Foss Mansion on Saturday was a success in many ways. We received $40 in donations at the door plus 30 gowns. We sold $9 worth of books. We gained two new members. Two women donated their wedding gowns to our gown salon for a future event. Someone donated a doll and there have been other people who want to donate about 30 dolls all together so we are going to assess the situation and see about selling the dolls at the doll boutique or throughout the year much like we sell the books. We are also discussing moving the books out of the foyer and into the library, converting the glass shelves back to their original use as a bookcase or perhaps moving other shelving into the library. Youll be hearing soon about an open house during the Balloon Festival. Saturday, Aug. 16 from 2-5 p.m.
