The Peoples Café, Uphall, is a meeting place where people who have any form of dementia, and their carers, can come to meet others in a similar situation for support and social contact, a cup of tea or coffee and home baking; a light lunch of homemade soup and sandwich is also served for a small contribution. Carers on their own are also welcome, as are people with dementia who are able to make their own way there. Come along for the whole session, or you are most welcome to just drop in as and when it suits you. The café runs on the fourth Tuesday of every month from 11am - 1.30pm at St Andrews Care Home, St Andrews Court, 20 Hawthorn Place, Uphall. The next meetings is tomorrow, 27 January.
