The Perfection that you are is already here (is eternal and real). This individualized Conscious Being is the unity that runs throughout the diversity that is called the world. Only one established in super-consciousness (beyond the activity of the kinetic mind) has the crystal clear insight outside of the structure called the individual. Crystal clear realization can not occur while one is confined within the limited confines of the structure. This limited individualized awareness is like a bubble in the ocean. To try to understand (to know) Self and God-realization by reading books, lessons, classes, lectures, and spiritual philosophy would be like trying to draw water from a seventy foot well with a sixty foot rope. One must actually draw the water from the well (must meditate to the stage of super-consciousness Samadhi). Anything less is mere speculation. This you must do yourself
