The Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators (PAFTE-NCR), in partnership with the University of the East College of Education Laboratory Schools, invites all students of Teacher Educational Institutions and Faculty of Basic Education Laboratory or Cooperating Schools to these two seminars to be held at the UE Theater in UE Manila on November 28, 2014: Morning Session, 8 a.m. to 12 noon: “Enriching Research Capability: Enhancing Competency in Teacher Education” Objective: The seminar is aimed at gathering Education students to hone their research capability skills to serve as a propeller towards enriching pedagogic competency. Afternoon Session, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.: “Learner-Centered Pedagogy: Mainstreaming Learning Competencies” Objective: This seminar is aimed at enriching the pedagogical skills of teachers in Basic Education, specifically on teaching strategies toward mastery of learning competencies.
