The Philippines: I lived in the Philippines for 20 years. The Philippines is an amazing, tragic, funny, beautiful, ugly, crazy, intense country. Filipinos are an incredible people. They are kind hearted, patient, spiritual, hard working, smart, brave, smiley, strong people. Filipinos endured 333 years of Spanish terror, from 1565 to 1898. The United States and the Philippines have a beautiful friendship. Americans help the Philippines to be more materially progressive, just and democratic. Filipinos help Americans to smile, accept things they cannot change, and enjoy simple living. I believe Filipinos have a major role to play for God in building his kingdom on Earth. There are half a million Filipinos in the Middle East, bringing joy to that hate filled region. There are Filipinos all over the world, doing Gods work, the most important work, as teachers, nurses, engineers, caregivers, nannies among other tasks. Nobody does a better job of taking care of children, the elderly and the sick than Filipinos. And I know the Philippines has a very bright future. The Spanish evil is still a handicap but it is being removed by courage, intelligence, patience, hard work and spirituality. One day the whole world will know of the greatness of the Philippines. Filipinos are a remnant of the lost high civilization of Lemuria. And Filipinos are helping the world emerge from the dark ages into a new high age, a wonderful world of peace, brotherhood and abundance. I will always be rooting for the Philippines to move forward. My many Filipino friends will always be deeply embedded in my heart. God gave me an enormous blessing when he sent me to the Philippines. Thats where I learned patience, endurance, acceptance of hardship and how to smile when things go wrong. God bless the Philippines! Pinoy ang dating!
