The Philippines is awaiting for the return of Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales from her two-week study tour in Washington, DC. as she is expected to issue a ruling on the various motions filed against the Ombudsman’s findings of probable cause for the plunder and malversation charges in relation to the P10-billion pork barrel scam. While in New York, the Ombudsman participated in a townhall meeting with community leaders who applauded when she said that there is enough evidence to prove the guilt of Senators Juan Ponce Enrile, Bong Revilla, and Jinggoy Estrada, all of whom have been linked to the pork barrel scam. -AJPress
