The Phnom Penh Crown Academy U-16s will leave for Guangzhou in China this Friday to play their opening Asia U-16 Champions Trophy match against the Guangdong FA the following day, Saturday, KO 4pm (3pm Cambodia time). The match is scheduled to be played at the 58,000-capacity Tianhe Stadium (pictured), the home ground of Chinese Super League champions Guangzhou Evergrande. The team will return home in the early hours of Monday morning. Coach Bouy Dary has named an 18-strong squad for the match. The same weekend a 9-strong squad of the Crown Academy U-14s team will take part in the Singapore Soccer Sixes youth tournament, of which Crown are the holders. A busy weekend of international competition ahead for the Crown Academy.
