The Phra Pathom Chedi (1st photo) is the tallest stupa in Thailand with the height of 120.45 metres. The stupa is located in the Wat Phra Pathommachedi Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan, a temple in the town center of Nakhon Pathom, Thailand. The stupa is less than two metres shorther than Jetavanaramaya (2nd photo), the tallest stupa in the world with the height of 122 metres. The Jetavaramaya is to be found in the ruins of Jetavana Monastery in the sacred world heritage city of Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka.
